After the coach journey from Sleaford, the walk starts at the lovely Peak District village of Tissington, home of the famous Well Dressing.
Follow lanes and field paths to Thorpe, then down dramatic Lindale to the famous Dovedale Stepping Stones. Follow the scenic River Dove south to Mapleton, then ascend through fields to the Tissington Trail for the final easy section into Ashbourne.
Time to look around and enjoy refreshments in Ashbourne before the coach journey home.
Start and finish times shown include the outward and return coach journey from Sleaford. Walking time estimated approx 10am to 3pm, including breaks.

This is a linear walk
This walk is part of a coach trip being organised by Sleaford Ramblers. The coach will leave Sleaford at 8:00 sharp for those who have pre-booked seats (cost £16 per person). Booking details can be found on Sleaford Ramblers website under 'coach trips' tab.
As the walk is linear, anyone wishing to join the walk at Tissigton would need to make their own arrangments to return from Ashbourne to the starting point at Tissington.
