Leisurely 7.5 miles / 12.1 km
These two villages lie south-west of Ely on high ground which offers great views over the fens to the south. We'll be enjoying those views as well as visiting an orchard, a secret airfield, and a special type of farm where, it is said, one can see owls in the daytime. The lunch stop will be around the halfway point and can be followed by a visit to the Kings Arms pub in Wilburton. At the end of the walk there's an optional second pub stop at the Three Kings in Haddenham.
Meet at the junction of Camping Close and the High Street in Haddenham, postcode CB6 3UA.
This is a circular walk
This is one of hundreds of Ramblers group walks for all ages and abilities every week - all led by our experienced walk leaders. You’re welcome to join us on any of our walks to see if the Ramblers is for you. Then, once you’ve enjoyed the views, fun, exhilaration and good company, it’s just a case of becoming a member.
Do make sure you're fit enough and have the right footwear and clothing for the walk you want to do, though. You can contact the group or leader if in doubt.
