The final stage of the Kent Coast is a classic walk. In the morning we climb up the Western Heights then go over Shakespeare Cliff to look down on Samphire Hoe and look at a sound mirror. In the afternoon we go steeply down very slippery paths through the undercliff of Folkestone Warren to “Little Switzerland”. We end in the twilight by going past some Martello towers to Folkestone Harbour. We will need to keep the pace up due to short daylight. Sunset 15:50. Bring a packed lunch. Possible pub at end
