Travel: Meet at Bromley-by-Bow Underground Station (Zones 2 and 3) District and Hammersmith and City lines. Finish at Ponders End Station (Zone 5)
Walk along the Lea Valley by the River Lea. Places of interest include the Three Mills (one of London's oldest extant industrial centres), the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Middlesex Filter Bed Nature Reserve, Walthamstow Marsh Nature Reserve and Tottenham Marshes. We will stop close to a pub at lunchtime but due to time constraints please bring a packed lunch. Walsingham is a village in North Norfolk famous as a place of religious pilgrimage since Medieval times.
