See "Our events" for overview.
There has been no "reccy" for this walk but I am sure we will be fine if we keep the land to the left and sea to the right. If not, I will accumulate some early points for the DB Navigational Award. My Bradshaw's Handbook says that Sidmouth "is one of the most agreeably-situated watering-places that can be imagined" ... sounds like my sort of town.
From Exmouth Railway station we head south to Ferry Point where we pick up the SWCP and head east along the seafront to Sandy Bay and Budleigh Salterton. From Budeigh Salterton we head slightly in land to cross the River Otter and then back out to the coast on to Ladram Bay and Sidmouth. This is a linear walk so we will be catching the bus back to the Exmouth start point.
