Join us for a leisurely walk to celebrate the arrival of spring at the College Lake Nature Reserve. We start by walking along the Grand Union Canal and its Aylesbury branch and then head towards College Lake.
Once a chalk quarry, College Lake is now one of the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust's flagship nature reserves, currently supporting more than 1,000 different wildlife species. We will descend down to the water level to observe through an observation hut and then eat packed lunch.
Soon after there will be a drinks stop at the charming Grand Junction Arms next to the canal in Bulborne.
We will walk along the Wendover Arm and the picturesque Marsworth Reservoirs on the way back to our starting point in Marsworth.
Park and meet at Startops End pay and display car park in Marsworth (turn right immediately before the traffic lights and the bridge). Parking costs £3 for 24 hours.
