A figure-of-eight walk around the villages of Penallt & Redbrook – The walk crosses the river via the old railway footbridge then around Penallt on the Welsh side of the river Wye with lots of fantastic sculptured gardens, landscaping and natural features.  There will be a brief stop at the Old Church, then back past the Inn-at-Penallt with incredible views across the Wye Valley.  Crossing back over the river, there will be an optional short loop around the village of Redbrook before ending the walk at the Boat Inn.

The main walk around Penallt is approximately 5 miles (8 km) and the optional Redbrook loop is a further 3 miles (5 km).

The walk is moderate with one longish climb near the beginning but fairly easy going after that.
