Leisurely 7 miles / 11.3 km
Explore some of the lovely Fife coast with Ben Dolphin, Ramblers Scotland’s president, journalist, blogger, countryside ranger and WalkHighlands columnist. https://twitter.com/countrysideben
If you have never walked with the Ramblers before, this is a great opportunity to join Ben for a stunning leisurely walk in good company. It’s free and all are welcome.
“I love the Fife coast. At 117 miles it’s understandably got a bit of everything, although not always easy to make circular walks from it. This one is an exception, making a loop inland from Elie, skirting around the reclusive loch at Kilconquhar before cutting across farmland to the coast at Shell Bay.
From there we climb to the highest point on the Fife Coastal Path, which has stunning views across the East Neuk and the Firth of Forth, before following the coast and beautiful sandy beaches past Earlsferry back to Elie"
To register your interest in attending please email email@example.com by Thurdsay 30 May. Ramblers members are also very welcome to attend, numbers will be limited so book early! Please state your membership number in the email.

Start time: 10:00
This is a circular walk
Good paths and farm tracks, some road walking plus of course some beach walking if the tide allows. I’ve graded the walk leisurely on account of its general flatness and good conditions under foot, but note that the route does include walking over Kincraig Point, which is the highest point on the Fife Coastal Path and therefore has high cliffs and steep slopes.
Please bring waterproofs, sensible footwear, refreshments and a packed lunch.
