Julian's "BIG 60" Doddington Circular
Sunday, 23 June 2019
Start time: 10:00
(Estimated finish time: 16:00)
Moderate 11 miles / 17.7 km
Why not take a walk in Syndale Valley? The path takes us through the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and explores the peace and solitude of quaint villages, and wildlife havens. Bring a snack for lunchtime drinks mid-way at The Plough in Stalisfield.
We'll finish the day with a meal at The Chequers Pub in Doddington (ME9 0BG) straight after from circa 4pm. Apparently there's live music from The Cat's Pyjamas from 6-8pm if we want to party on. Menu to follow but those wanting dinner may need to wing by the Chequers pub to pre-order prior to the walk.
Please note: This walk celebrates Julian's big birthday and friendships across East Kent and West Kent Groups. Please, no presents - but let's create a party atmosphere. Weather allowing, it will be a smashing day!
Meet at 10:00 for 10:15 start from Church car park of The beheading of St. John the Baptist Doddington. Church Hill · Doddngton.

Please consider a donation to the church's upkeep.

This is one of hundreds of Ramblers group walks for all ages and abilities every week - all led by our experienced walk leaders.
You’re welcome to join us on any of our walks to see if the Ramblers is for you. Then, once you’ve enjoyed the views, fun, exhilaration and good company, it’s just a case of becoming a member.
Do make sure you're fit enough and have the right footwear and clothing for the walk you want to do, though. You can contact the group or leader if in doubt.
