Moderate 3 miles / 4.8 km
A 3 mile circular walk out to the low tide mark to view a section of a Mulberry harbour. These floating harbours were used during the D day landings. Be prepared to get wet and muddy up to your knees, so shorts and beech shoes or old trainers that you don’t mind getting soaked through are perfect. Optional drink / Toby Carvery after.
Dogs are permitted on our walks at the leader's discretion. However they must be well behaved and kept on a lead.Please read the Ramblers dog walking code on the Ramblers website.
Be prepared ! Ensure that you wear walking boots/shoes, trainers can be worn in summer months. Clothing suitable for the weather conditions must be worn. Bring drinking water and food with you, if you're unsure what else to bring please ask.
