Start time: 9:00
(Estimated finish time: 16:00)
Moderate 7.5 miles / 12.1 km
Meet Warmley Station car park for 9am departure.
THERE IS VERY LIMITED PARKING AT THE START OF THE WALK SO WE WILL NEED FULL CARS.
This year the walk has been shortened to approximately 7.5 miles and there will sadly be no tea available at Tortworth Church.
The walk will be at an easy pace over gentle undulating land. This will give the group time to study trees (including the historic Tortworth chestnut) and wild flowers. The walk will circumnavigate the Tortworth estate and the 400 acres of parkland. On a fine day there is a good view of the Cotswold Hills and the monument at North Nibley.
Bring water and a packed luncheon.
