From Lewes Prison the walk goes up onto South Downs, skirting the old Lewes race course and descends down to the Plumpton road and across fields to South Chailey via East Chiltington. The walk will be at a good pace to ensure we reach the finishing point to catch the 13:17 bus back to Lewes. Bring a picnic or lunch back in Lewes.
Brighton Old Steine, Bus stop F. Meet at 9:15 to catch the 9:24 Brighton and Hove 28 bus to Lewes Prison.
