A long and varied walk around the estuaries of the rivers Towy & Taf. Given good weather the scenery is outstanding over the rolling green Carmarthenshire farm land & the estuaries. The Pembrokeshire Coast, Cauldey Island, as well as Tywyn Point, the Western end of Cefn Sidan, the Gower & Worms head are also visible. There are also a few historical points of interest. Waterproofs, warm clothing are considered essential. Note the leader reccied the route twice in January & February in blazzing sunshine, so bring a wide brimmed hat & a sun cream just in case.
Old section of A48 Carriageway next to Lezzet restaurant. The M4 runs besides the A48 here & junction 47 is only a few hundred metres West.
