Moderate 8 miles / 12.9 km
Walk in the High Weald on the Kent / Sussex border. Initially heading north and then west along the Sussex Border Path, then north via Cowden station, before turning south (via the gate purchased to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Group in 2019) to lunch stop in Cowden (pub / picnic) after ca. 5 miles. After lunch return to Ashurst after a further ca. 3 miles, with the option of an additional ca. 3 mile loop south of Ashurst.

Layby off A264 just west of the Kent / Sussex border (just west of the single file traffic lights under the railway / over the River Medway).
