3 Castles Path - Windsor Castle to Martin's Heron

We set off from Windsor Castle along the Long Walk to the Copper Horse on Snow Hill; we then proceed past the Royal School and to Golden Gates and by the side of the Old Straight Mile course. Further on we pass Englemere Pond (a nature reserve).The walk finishes at Martin's Heron. Please arrive in clean boots and wear them in the coach and take your rucksack with you. There is not much space for the coach to park at the start in Windsor.
Usual start from Braywick Road, (A308) Maidenhead. Please park in public car park - £10.00 however (only) if you intend to eat or drink in the Toby Carvery you may leave your car in the carvery car park. Current Covid restrictions will apply.
Remember to bring sufficient food, drinks and suitable clothing for what is likely to be long day.
