Strenuous 8.2 miles / 13.2 km
A moderate to strenuous walk starting at Station Road Birnam. The walk will loop round Birnam Hill through woods and ascend from the east which will be steep in parts including steps. The return journey will be via the Ladywell Plantation, Inver and along the river Tay to Birnam. Birnam Hill provides a 360degree panorama of the surrounding countryside. The walk will be on tracks/paths with some minor road walking.

This is a circular walk
If travelling by car from Perth turn off the A9, signposted Birnam and park in Station Road or Perth Road.
If travelling by bus take the No.23 leaving from Stand F, Mill Street at 9:20, arriving at Birnam Hotel at 9:58
