At the last committee meeting it was decided that in order to comply with the recent Act of Parliament decreeing that it is now mandatory to wear a face-mask whilst travelling on public transport, and that as from 19th December 2021 it is now a requirement that anyone travelling on the coach wears a face-mask. Anyone refusing to do so will not be allowed onto the coach unless they can prove a valid reason for not conforming to the legislation

This is a coach walk. All seats must be pre-booked. There will be four walks varying in distance from 5 to 12 miles.
All coaches pick-up at County Hall bus stop 9.15am and Maid Marian Way, outside Tesco at 9.30am
A WALK - Leader: Linda Hewing - 8 miles
Route: Rowsley, Stanton in Peak, Lathkill Dale, Over Haddon (Xmas Meal), Bakewell
Distance: 6m/10k to Over Haddon, then further 2m/3k to Bakewell
Description: Scenic route climbing up to Stanton in Peak, down to Lathkill Dale then up to Over Haddon and The Lathkill Hotel for our festive meal at 1:45pm.
We leave the hotel no later than 4pm to arrive in Bakewell coach park by 5pm.
Terrain: Some mud, descent to the crossroad from Stanton could be slippy in parts. Care needed at the busy crossroad
NOTES: The hotel asks walkers to remove or cover muddy boots. As it will be dusk/dark as we leave the hotel, torch/head torch is essential. Bring small gift if you wish to participate in the raffle
GROUPS B & C WALKS
Leader: Zdena Parish - 4.5 miles
Route: Rowsley, Rowsley Woods, Beeley, Calton Lees, Rowsley
Terrain: One steep hill in Rowsley Woods. Muddy at the end of the walk
