Leisurely 6 miles / 9.7 km
Arguably three of the prettiest villages in the Cotswolds and a photographer's paradise. We start at Bourton and cross to Lower Slaughter, on to Upper Slaughter before heading out into the rural countryside which is natural and unspoilt. We will see clusters of stone dwellings typical of the Cotswolds.
An easy walk, with one short uphill climb.
Meet at the Birdland car park toilets GL54 2DR. Large car park (pay & display) adjacent. Car sharing recommended.
This is a circular walk
Bring refreshments for a coffee break.
Suitable for well-behaved dogs on leads.
This is one of hundreds of Ramblers group walks for all ages and abilities every week - all led by our experienced walk leaders. You’re welcome to join us on any of our walks to see if the Ramblers is for you. Then, once you’ve enjoyed the views, fun, exhilaration and good company, it’s just a case of becoming a member.
Do make sure you're fit enough and have the right footwear and clothing for the walk you want to do, though. You can contact the group or leader if in doubt.
