My first Ramble, please be gentle with me…. So I'm going with something familiar – a mostly woody meander around the Newchurch and Alverstone area. Woodland and water, maybe some wildlife. Drinks stop. No stiles. Minimal road walking. And there’s a pub (Pointer Inn) at the end for anyone who wishes!
Please make suitable preparations for this type of walk and the weather on the day. Consider, clothing, footwear, walking stick, sun cream, drinks, and food. If you are unsure about your ability to undertake this walk, please contact the walks leader. If you need to leave the walking group, please ensure you inform the leader or back marker.
