Start time: 10:30
(Estimated finish time: 16:00)
Leisurely 11 miles / 17.7 km
Alex is leading a 11 mile Moderate walk.
This is a circular walk from Tanworth moving in an anti clockwise direction. Some country roads are involved where care must be taken. Going along some narrow paths and open fields. Some wooded land.
Since there are nettles and brambles in places, short trousers are not advised.
The land is mostly flat and could be very boggy depending on rainfall in preceding days, thus walking boots are preferable
There are no toilet facilities nor refreshment opportunities so drink and food is necessary for a long day.
Whilst there is a pub in the village there's no guarantee it will be open on the day.
There are possibly animals in fields so no dogs please.
Depending on walk pace we should be finished by 4pm.
There is parking on the nearby roads in the village so allow time for this.
Please arrive at 10:15 for a 10:30 start.
