Moderate 10.5 miles / 16.9 km
Out of Buckfastleigh via the quaint cottages of Higher Town. Join the Dartmoor Way then turn left through King’s Wood to Wallaford Down Gate. Follow the minor road that leads to the Abbots Way. At Water Oak Corner, leave the Abbots Way and follow rough tracks to meet the Two Moors Way. Follow the Two Moors Way to Chalk Ford and Scorriton, and then the Dartmoor Way back into Buckfastleigh.
A moderate walk with some mud in patches besides the Holy Brook (Holy Mud?).
Variety? Walking by water, through woods, across open moor, three different long distance paths, nice views etc.
