Additional notes

This is a circular walk

The leader will meet walkers at the bus stop in Kilsyth.

Walkers should catch the 09:20 First Glasgow No. 89 bus to Kilsyth.

Walkers should alight at the Parkburn bus stop. This is stop after the Coachman Hotel and before the bus turns off the main road.

All participants must contact the Leader in advance by email, text or phone call, but not more than two weeks before the walk. They should provide the Leader with a mobile phone number so that, if necessary, they can be contacted on the day of the walk or earlier; this is helpful in case the walk has to be cancelled or arrangements changed at short notice.

Walkers should bear in mind the Covid guidelines as they apply on the day of the walk, including those for travelling by public transport; they should not come on the walk if they have any symptoms associated with the virus. Bring hand sanitiser, a face mask (in case you have to get close to someone), and a small first aid kit so that you can self treat if necessary.

Walkers should carry an "in case of emergency" card with contact details.
