Group South Ribble

From Parbold we will walk along the Leeds Liverpool Canal before ascending to the quarry area & across to Dalton Lees. Our route continues down to Newburgh, returning alongside the canal to our start point.

Park (free of charge) at Alder Lane Playing Fields, Bramble Way off the A5209 Alder Lane (at the bottom of Parbold Hill, by the traffic lights).

Nearest toilets - in the cafes and pubs in Parbold village.
