Approx. 4 miles, easy pace, lots of stairs.
A visit to the Castle (where stairs are to the keep) and Anne of Cleves House. There is also a ruined Priory and gardens as well as a very old book shop.
This walk was originally planned for Friday 24 June, but was cancelled due to an anticipated rail strike.
Site ticket: Combines the castle with Anne of Cleves House £13.00 / £12.00 with concession
Route: A gentle walk around Lewes to see the sites.
Food: Picnic or many cafes / tea shops in Lewes
Drop-out points: Several (return to Lewes station)

Finish: Aiming at 18.27 train from Lewes to allow time to see all places of interest, including a possible visit to the brewery.
