The council want reports of incidents involving livestock on rights of way and are working with the H & SE to try and gauge the extent of the problem. Four farms in Cornwall are piloting a scheme to provide temporary diversions if this is successful it may be adopted nationwide.
The Council are also having a purge on crops across footpaths please report any to the rights of way enforcement team at the Council this is having a noticable effect so worth doing.
