We have decided to increase our print run of programmes so we can leave copies in pubs, libraries, doctors’ surgeries to encourage people to join us.
New data protection regulations came into force last May. Walk leaders have signed consent forms regarding their names and phone numbers to appear in the programme and on the web page.
Despite membership numbers declining through people moving away or retiring, we continue to attract new members.
The coach outing to Rye and Hastings was a great success and the model for a morning and afternoon walk, with the option of visiting local attractions seems to prove popular. Thanks to Ruth for suggesting Rye, Lorraine for local information and Mike and Viv for helping with the recce. Please suggest ideas for the next coach trip.
