The Sevenoaks group of the Ramblers Association was founded during the course of a public meeting held at the "Farmers" pub, Sevenoaks on 25th March 1987. As a result of this meeting, a committee was elected whose enthusiasm, together with some financial support from the Ramblers' Association, resulted in a published walks and social programme. From this beginning membership has grown from fifty at the start to well over three hundred ramblers who now enjoy a wide ranging walks programme together with regular social events which are evidenced by some of the entries in the group albums.
Our photo albums were carefully kept by Kate, our Social Secretary, for years. Now all the album pictures are available online, together with lots of more recent pictures.
