Ramblers' groups help local people enjoy walking and protect the places we all love to walk. Most groups organise regular walks led by local experts – a great way to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and happiness. You’re very welcome to try walking with us, or to get involved in looking after paths and green spaces and opening up new places to explore.
Lutterworth Ramblers walk on Sundays, and sometimes during summer evenings. Winter walks tend to be short (4 to 6 miles) and fairly local, but at other times of year, we alternate short and long (up to 11 mile) walks; the latter tend to be further afield (e.g., the Cotswolds, the Peak District). We also try to have a weekend away at least once per year. Unfortunately, at present, dogs are not permitted on our walks. Walks are categorised according to The Ramblers' Association grading: L (Leisurely), M (Moderate), S (Strenuous). The walking pace on the level is normally about 2.5 mph. Please visit our website for more information. Unless otherwise stated, the meeting point is Lutterworth Town Hall Car Park (LE17 4AT) and times shown in the programme are departure times from the Town Hall; please phone the relevant walk leader for start time at any specific walk location. Lutterworth is located in South Leicestershire at Junction 20 of the M1. Note that the Ramblers' Association website pinpoints the centre of our group's geographical area rather than Lutterworth itself.
