Who we are

Welcome to our page. As the name suggests, we are the Ramblers in North and Mid Cheshire. Our Area extends from Helsby in the West to Chelford in the East and from Newton-le-Willows in the North to Tarporley in the South.

We organise walks to suit all abilities, using car, coach and public transport.

What we do

We are a friendly group and we like to welcome new members. You can usually hear us coming as there's always lots of nattering going on. After our walks we often visit a pub or cafe to carry on talking and plan our next day out.

Our Area walks programme has around five walks per week, usually on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. You can find these on our own website by following the link above. In addition, Halton, Vale Royal & Knutsford and Warrington Groups run coaches every Sunday with 3-4 walks on each. See our group pages below to find out more about them. Cheshire Walkers Group has an extensive programme of walks, social events and holidays. Our walks vary from 5 miles easy strolling to 14 miles high mountain walking in Wales or the Lakes.
