Walks Booklets - Advertising
The walks programmes for all the Groups within the Northumbria Area are printed in a booklet; 6 months programme, twice a year. Advertising space is available at a low cost and does not have to walking related.
If Groups are sent emails from eg accommodation owners, consider sending them the attached leaflet, rather than emailing the informaiton to members.

Landscape Enhancement Initiative Fund
The National Grid have a 'Landscape Enhancement Initiative Fund'. Twice a year they ask for applications for funding to reduce the impact of some of their pylons etc. in places of beauty, eg planting trees to screen some pylons or paint them to blend into the countryside more. The next opportunity to apply for funding is 21 January 2019.

Group aimed primarily at people in their 20s and 30s, but many members are in their 40's and early 50's.
We walk on alternate Sundays and two Wednesdays a month in Northumberland and North Durham. A variety of distances to suit all tastes.
