Welcome to the St James Coach Web Page

We run walking trips by coach to various areas from our City Centre pick up point in

Newcastle upon Tyne

Places are available

We will be allowing limited seat sharing for anyone happy to do so on this trip.

Covid precautions will still be in place for the journey and we are continuing to wear face masks on the coach.

Coach Fare: £15 for the next trip whatever the distance.

This may seem a little high but we are having to build up our finances again after Covid

Return departure time - Will be 5.30 PM for the present.

Departure point is located at St James Street, NEWCASTLE just off Strawberry Place, next to the football stadium. See the MAP below.

Travel by Metro to either Haymarket, St James or Monument.

Drive to the Car Parks at Terrace Place just round the corner.


New Walkers can contact the Coach Organizer by e-mail for their first trip and pay their coach fare on the day. You're welcome to try a few trips to see if you like the group walks.

Cancellations or Transfers forward need to be notified to the Coach Organizer by 9pm on the THURSDAY before the Sunday trip you have booked.
