Our activities include:
Path maintenance

We walk on a fortnightly Saturday basis. Our current walks programme goes to the end of October, so keep checking here to find out what's on.

Information about our group and walks can also be found on our Facebook page.  Powys Ramblers have developed a Buddy Walking scheme.  If you are interested in this please visit Powys Ramblers webpage and check out the July 2021 newsletter for more details.

We look forward to seeing you on a walk soon.

Keep well, stay safe.

We like to think we are a friendly bunch of people, and welcome new faces whether they are just passing through, or intend to join us. You can try us out for 3 walks, but if you want to become a regular walker with the group then you will need to join the Ramblers. Why not give us a try?
Our group takes its name from the 4 Powys spa towns of Llandrindod Wells, Builth Wells, Llanwrtyd Wells and Llangammarch Wells. We walk locally and further afield taking in the breathtaking scenery of the Black Mountains, the Brecon Beacons, the Ceredigion Coastal paths and some of the quieter more hidden areas of Mid Wales. We also venture out into Herefordshire and Shropshire at times!
Our programme of walks is on alternate Saturdays. We have linked up with the East Radnor Ramblers to offer walks most Saturdays. Our aim for 2022 is to increase our membership by publicising ourselves and our walks better. We had some new faces join us on several walks during 2021, and we hope they will continue to enjoy walking with us.
Footpath Maintenance
Some members of our group also participate in the maintenance of our rights of way network in conjunction with Powys County Council Countryside Services: clearing paths, surveying bridges, and replacing stiles and gates. If this is something that would interest you, please contact us.
For further information on specific walks, please contact the walk leader.

Please note: We regret we do not allow dogs on walks.
