Friday 14th June 19 – 19:30hrs until late
Comedy Night- Bobby Mair and Hugh Davies at Cherry Reds Café and Bar, 88-90 John Bright Street, Birmingham, B1 1PU.


With a capacity of less than 50 seats this is a unique opportunity to see some of the best TV comedians in the UK up close and personal whilst enjoying some of the great food and drink that Cherry Reds is famous for.

Bobby Mair: Canadian stand-up comedian based in London, England who has appeared on The Hour, Russell Howard's Good News, Sweat the Small Stuff, Virtually Famous, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Sam Delaney's News Thing and 8 Out of 10 Cats and has supported the likes of Jerry Sadowitz, Doug Stanhope and Bill Burr.

This is a public event... tickets sell fast so don't leave it too late to get yours...£8.00 admits one or two for £13.00 + booking fee. There is no allocated seating so it is advisable to get there early. The show starts at 20.00.

Jes will be there at 19.30, upstairs at the bar to welcome members.

Please note the event is on the first floor. There is no lift available.


This is a great quirky venue, affordable food and drink, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and punters!...Jes has been a few times, always a good night. Venue is right next to New Street Station.

After the 2016 EU referendum, Blowfish Theatre made a musical about Boris Johnson and Brexit. 

They thought it wouldn’t last the summer. It won’t be their last mistake.

Jack The Ripper: The Victims at Blue Orange Theatre, 118 Great Hampton St, Jewellery Quarter, B18 6AD - £10 per person


This is the story of the five women brutally murdered in Whitechapel, London.

Saturday 9th November 19 19:30hrs until late
Barn Dance – Callers Eve & John at Great Barr Conservative Club, 6A Newton Road, Great Barr, Birmingham, B43 6BN


Callers Eve and John host a fun annual fundraising event that should get you up and dancing. Easy dances to start with, it gets more complicated as the night progresses. Eve talks you through each dance before you have a go … you’ll be a pro before you know it!
Dancing is optional! Lots of fun, licensed bar, bring your own food…lots of take-outs and places to eat in the local area.
