Internal information and news for our group members

IMPORTANT – please review your communication preferences 

Due to the new General Data Protection Requirements, we are now only able to send the Woking group e-newsletter and occasional email, in accordance with members’ communication preferences and email address registered with Ramblers central office.

Please review your communication preferences and update if required. 

The quickest and easiest way for members to update their information is by logging into their account on the Ramblers website and clicking on Update profile in “My account” at:

If members do not have an account, they can create one by clicking on Register now at:

Alternatively, members can phone membership services at 020 7339 8595. The Ramblers memberships services team can only accept updates direct from the member.

Local parking

Self help

  • Car pool: Any car pool details should be listed on walk details under Meeting point. If not shown then no formal car share is arranged. Starting point is the walk start point.
  • Printable walk list/table: The most up to date information is always on this website. A printed list is only accurate at the time it’s prepared but if you need a hard copy: 
    • Ensure that the green Our group walks panel on the home page is expanded (if not, click on ‘+’ at the panel top) and then click on More Walks at the panel bottom.
    • Near the top of the new page, select your required date range, ensure that the Group walks tab is enabled, and set Results per Page to (10/20/50) as preferred.
    • Scroll down to the bottom of the new page and click on either Print text or Print table, ready to print. For the table version set your printer driver to landscape.

Group eNewsletter publication dates 

eNewsletter is sent by email four times a year in March, June, September and December. Copy date for contributions to is fifteenth of preceding month.
