We are the North Dorset Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk starts by meeting in Blandford, leaving some cars there whilst others car share back to the start of the actual walking at Sutton Waldron.
The walk starts at 09.30 crossing farmland, before passing through the attractive grounds of Clayesmore School, and the delightful setting of Oyle’s Mill, before reaching Shroton. Once past Stourpaine, we pick up the Trailway, to finish at the Stour Meadows.
Please be aware that there is once particularly wet/marshy area just before Stourpaine, therefore poles are recommended, as is water-resistant footwear!
