We are the Northallerton Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From the car park we walk alongside Hury Reservoir on the south side then Blackton Reservoir on the north side stopping for coffee on route. We take the path at Hannah's meadow to High Birk Hat then head south to Blackton Bridge. Our route back is on The Pennine Way and over Cotherstone Moor to West Briscoe
Some moorland walking but with fairly defined paths
There are 3 stiles on this walk
After walk refreshments will be at
Cotherstone Old Chapel Shop and Cafe on the B6277 DL12 9NL
