Overview

A Family Friendly walk with Ramblers Northampton (Northamptonshire's Leading Walking Group), suitable for children 8 plus, accompanied by a parent / grandparent who should supervise them at all times.

A 6.5 mile walk, over two and a half hours, on well surfaced paths, a section of the Nene Way and bridleways. Children will have the option of using the equipment on the Adventure Trail (including double zip wire and the rope bridge) as an integral part of the walk.

This activity is free to all, other than car parking charges of £6.40 per car for the day.

It may be muddy in places in wet weather so wear wellies or walking boots.

Dogs are permitted but must be on leads. (Stanwick Lakes is widely used by cyclists and part of the route passes through a field of sheep).
