Overview

A leisurely 4.5 mile stroll around Beamish and High Urpeth following forest tracks and field paths.   We leave the Eden Place Car Park and follow a forest trail to High Urpeth, through the Pockerley area, and then around the edge of Beamish Museum through Pockerley Farm.   The good bits… the only two steep hills are short (Like Me), there are very few stiles, and there is not too much mud.

After: Cong Burn Garden Centre near Edmondsley. DH7 6DY.   This is the most convenient local place where we can get the nice coffee and food we have become accustomed to !!
