Overview

Given the time of year, I have revised the walk. I will park at Loftus Road Car Park, Sedbergh as Wednesday is market day. We will start at the main car park, and go up Settlebeck Gill. A steady climb of about 2 hours to the ridge top, and then to Arant Haw ( 1989 feet). Then along west ridge and descend to Crosedale farm. There is a stream to cross.. about 6 feet wide but shallow. Finally along Howgill Lane into Sedbergh. Generally grassy paths. 2000 feet, 6 miles.
