Overview

Starting from the "Cathedral of the Canals" this is a circular walk, taking in undulating open countryside visiting the lovely Barby Meadow Woods, Dunchurch Pools Marina on the Oxford Canal and the village of Willoughby.

Gently undulating walk with mostly field-paths, tracks and country lanes. Can be muddy in places especially descending to Dunchurch Pools so care and appropriate footwear required.  One ploughed field and approx. 16 stiles. Possible Coffee stop at the Garden Centre in Barby. The walk will start promptly at 10.00am but if you are unexpectedly delayed please txt/call the leader. Refreshments available after the walk at The Old Plough or The Admiral Nelson.
