Starting at Llanerchaeron National Trust, we’ll cross the river Aeron and head uphill through woods to reach the farmland stretching across towards the coast. Fantastic views are possible, depending on weather of course! We aim north to Aberarth church, then drop down to meet the coast path.
Turning southwest, we’ll walk by the sea to Aberaeron, possibly for luscious ice creams. Strolling through the town we’ll see the huge amount of work being done on the harbour. A footpath inland takes us beside the river, following the old railway track back to the start.
After the first climb, the route is more gentle though there are stiles and possibly mud. The last few miles are flatter. There are horses and cattle with young in some fields.
