Alcester (+ pub lunch). BOOKING ESSENTIAL

Easy walking. We start from the car park and walk down the historic Malt Mill Lane and across the River Arrow before entering field tracks to Oversley Hill Farm, where the walk enters Oversley Wood. We walk along a good track through the woodland, then more field paths. Crossing the A46 by footbridge, the walk continues to Oversley Green, then on minor roads back to Alcester and The Turk’s Head pub for lunch. About 4.5 miles with one or two stiles. In the afternoon we have a short 2.5 mile walk through the Arrow Valley Local Nature Reserve before returning to the car park by road. Leader Sandra Sutton.
