Blow away the Christmas morning cobwebs and join us for a circular walk through Aldeburgh and Slaughden. The walk takes us along the coast from the Moot Hall towards Thorpeness, then inland to follow the old railway line towards the allotments where we’ll cross Aldeburgh Marshes and follow the River Alde returning to the town centre.
The route is mainly on level ground with several gates, wooden bridges and no stiles. It can be very muddy in wetter conditions, good walking boots are recommended. We could encounter cattle in one field on the route, so will need to take care.
Toilets available Moot Hall, also opposite Aldeburgh Fire Station and at Slaughden Quay.
