We are the Eastwood Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting in Roselle Estate Park we explore the rememberance woodland trail and pond before leaving the park on route to Alloway and the Burns Memorials. Leaving Brig a Doon we take a cycle path which leads us to the beach and Greenan Castle. Our return journey is via Bellisle Park.
This walk is on woodland paths some of which may be slippy, pavement and beach.
Option at end of walk to view the Maclaurin Gallery and Roselle Mansion House where paintings of the story of Tam O Shanter are on display.
Toilets available at Roselle & Bellisle Park and at the Burns Museum in Alloway.
Car Parking available either opposite big house or as you enter Roselle on right hand side. We will meet at the big house.
Some of the woodland trails maybe slippery so may wish to bring poles.
