We are the Oxon Weekend Walkers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The old railway station may no longer be there but the beauty of the village and surrounding countryside is. Our walk takes us along the Diamond Way and up close to Chastleton House. We'll drop down through pretty wooded areas down to Dalesford and back through the lovely Adlestrop Park.
A leisurely walk with a few gentle undulations.
There will be some marshy fields at the start but otherwise reasonably easy under foot.
Dogs on leads welcome- note there are sheep - and maybe early lambs, in some fields.
Please bring picnic lunch and plenty to drink.
Meet at the village hall car park in Adlestrop. Parking is free but donations welcomed.
