Overview

Can’t promise ghosts…. But there will be a visit to Hampden Church Yard,   Hampden House (a Gothic 14thC manor house - the home of Hammer House of Horror) and the monument of John Hampden (1595-1643), a notorious rebel.   This is a leisurely, moderate mainly flat circular walk of 5-6 miles, apart from a couple of gentle inclines, on paths and bridleways through fields and woodlands and some short sections of road walking.

If it has been raining it may be muddy and there are 2-3 stiles.

Bring coffee/tea to go with Halloween themed spooky snacks just over halfway

Well behaved small dogs accepted.
