We set off through the village then across open fields that are in reasonable condition considering the recent weather.
On towards Culloden Farm, just before the farm we turn right. This is the only point on the recce that we experienced deep flooding, but we were able to easily get around it.
After this again we cross open fields to
Norton Juxta Twycross.
From here we head back to Appleby Magna across various terrain to a well earned drink
at The Crown Inn.
