This 10 mile circular walk from Ardington takes us up to the Ridgeway then back to Ardington passing through East and West Ginge.
Advance booking is not required, but if you plan on attending this walk, please indicate this on Meetup if you can (see Website link), so others can see that there will be plenty of people going.

Walk details
We start our walk in Ardington passing through Lockinge heading up to the join the Ridgeway. Continuing briefly west along the Ridgeway we then make our way south between Farnborough and West Ilsley before re-joining the Ridgeway to the east. We then begin our route back to Ardington through the village of East Ginge.
Travel details
By public transport
Take the train to Didcot Parkway then catch the X32 bus towards Wantage – the 10:20 bus will get you to Ardington for 10:55. It is then a short walk to the start point. From Reading, the 09:48 or 09:52 trains to Didcot should get you there in time for the bus.
Buses back to Didcot Parkway leave Ardingtion at 11 minutes past the hour – we will aim for the 17:11, getting to the station for 17:46.
By car
On-street parking is available on Church Street. There is also a car park a bit further down the road at Home Farm (OX12 8PN) that was free last time used in Feb 2023.
