Overview

Start point is by the old disused quarry. As this is the middle of our circular walk, from here we go a short distance up the road before heading across to the Bothie and the Lake. Our walk up continues to Arenig Fawr and the memorial to the crashed bomber during WW1.  We then head around the ridge, hopefully to get a swim in one of the lakes before heading up onto the second peak of the day, Moel Llyfnant, and then back down the valley and to the start.
