Ascending the lovely Cragg Vale from the village of Mytholmroyd, haunted by the ghosts of the Coiners!
Our route will take in the area around Bell House, moorland, woods and provide views out over the picturesque Calder valley.
There is some ascent and descent, and as ever Calderdale weather can be somewhat unpredictable so waterproofs and boots are recommended. Bring a packed lunch to enjoy in the open air, with good company.
Mytholmroyd boasts several pubs and cafes for refreshments after your walk, and is accessible by train and bus. Parking is available roadside or at the station.
Well-behaved dogs on a lead are welcome, but contact the walk leader regarding stiles.
